AEROCOMPACT debuting adaptable flat roof solar racking at RE+ :


Photovoltaic mounting system manufacturer AEROCOMPACT is launching a brand new long-side clamping system for flat roofs at RE+, the largest clean energy event in North America, next month.  e CompactFlat S-Base from Aerocompact.


S_Base has been developed to work on different types of flat roofs, even with uneven surfaces and soft insulations. The design is meant to increase assembly speed, and simplify transportation and staging benefits with fewer system components. Plus, it can handle PV module sizes of up to 8 ft.

Canada-based solar module company Canadian Solarran up a loss of $47.98 million in the second quarter (Q2) of 2024 from a profit of $124.73 million in the same quarter last year.

 


 

Air Products signs 10-year solar PPA in Taiwan :


Industrial gas supplier Air Products has signed a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) in Taiwan, under which its Taiwanese unit, Air Products San Fu Co. Ltd., will source solar energy from Tatung Forever Energy.
