SolarCycle’s new Georgia facility can recycle 10 million solar panels annually :
SolarCycle today announced details of the solar panel recycling facility that will be built adjacent to its glass manufacturing plant in Cedartown, Georgia. The 255,000-ft2 recycling facility will have the capacity to recycle 10 million solar panels each year — nearly 5 GW total. It will initially recycle 2 million solar panels per year and scale as the company meets growing market demand for end-of-life solar services and domestic solar supply.
Leeward completes 179-MW Arizona solar project supporting Verizon :
Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) has completed construction and reached commercial operation of its 179-MW White Wing Ranch solar project in Yuma County, Arizona. Verizon Communications has supported the development of White Wing Ranch through a long-term power purchase agreement. Completion of White Wing Ranch takes LRE’s operating fleet to more than 3.3 GW.
3.1-MW solar project powers Lehigh University’s sports facilities :
Standard Solar completed a 3.1 MWDC solar project on Lehigh University’s Goodman Campus in Northampton, Pennsylvania. The company acquired the project from EDF Renewables, who developed the array and collaborated on its construction and completion. Standard Solar is the project’s long-term owner and operator.

SECI has structured this under tariff-based competitive bidding, designated as RfS No. SECI/C&P/IPP/13/0019/24-25, released on October 30, 2024.
